Burke ""Buff"" E. Hopkins

Burke E Hopkins (Buff) died at his home in Boise, on the morning of October 31st 2024 at the age of 72. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Marye and Elli Hopkins. His sister is K.C. Felt. He was married to his wife Joyce Hopkins for 39 years and they had two children; Anica and Skyler.

Burke was an eclectic generalist in life. As an artist, he was not limited to any one medium. He painted, crafted jewelry, and composed poems and music. As a musician, Burke was proficient with over 8 instruments. He was an avid outdoorsman - always looking forward to the next chance to go fishing, hunting, or hiking. When he was younger, Burke participated in many sports, including skiing and baseball, and later in life he enjoyed watching any and all sport events. Burke loved life and was always creating something.

Burke was a Veteran, proud of his service to his country. His natural charisma was able to coax a smile from any stranger and make many friends. Burke was a giver. Wanting to give all the love he could through his art, his friends, and his family. Now that he is gone; it is up to us to be a little bit more like Burke. Love the things you love, find adventure and beauty in nature - but above all - give and care for the people around you.
