John Henry Sandstrom
October 26th, 1931 - November 10th, 2024
John Henry Sandstrom passed away November 10, 2024. Henry was born in Sweden on October 26, 1931, to Viktor and Hilma Sandstrom. In 1952 he came to Alberta, Canada to work on his Uncle Helmer’s farm and later moved to Edmonton to start his electrical apprenticeship. He married Susan Keyeux in 1955 and with three young children moved to Eugene where he worked for 45 years as an electrician and a builder of many fine homes.
He is survived by his wife and five children John, Marianne, Philip, Andrew, and Mark. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church at 1150 Maxwell Road on Monday, November 25 at 10:30. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Gardens.
