It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Ruby Patterson on October 28, 2024. 

 

Although, we have great joy in knowing that she is now in the presence of the Lord.

 

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, James Melvin Patterson, and four sons James Jr. (Deborah), Timothy (Rose), Thomas (Jennifer), and John (Lisa). Along with 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

   

Marlene was born in Fresno, California, December 26, 1936. 

She married Jim on August 30, 1952 in San Jose California.

Marlene was a Navy wife, a house wife, home maker, and a mother.

 

She was an artist, a cake decorator, a piano teacher, and loyal friend to all who knew her. She had 2 years of college and worked for H&R Block for a time.

 

She has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Well done good and faithful servant! 

 

Marlene, you will be missed…..Always.
