Lonny "Lon" Bruce Carlson
September 6th, 1939 - October 29th, 2024
Lonny (Lon) Carlson passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Lon was born on September 6,1939, in Scottsbluff, NE, to Amos and Grace (Hankins) Carlson. In his youth, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and married his high school sweetheart, Betty Lee Enlow, shortly after leaving the Corps. In 1968, Lon moved his family to Tucson, AZ and began his lifetime career with his own land surveyor business. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty, his children, Joni and Bradley, granddaughters Holly and Julie and seven great-grandchildren. Lon deeply loved his family and protected them with all his heart. He will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at the Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Marana, AZ on November 14, 2024, at 10 a.m.
