September 28th, 1954 - November 5th, 2024
Robert P. Greco, born on September 28, 1954, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away at home on November 5, 2024, in Mantua Township, NJ, at the age of 70.
Legacy
He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Greco, his mother, Elizabeth Coletta, his stepmother, Patricia Greco and his brothers James and Michael. Robert will lovingly be remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and siblings, especially Thomas, Donna, Kathleen (Kevin McCauley), and James (Kristin O’Neil - Greco). Robert was deeply grateful for the kindness, support, and love he received from his many colleagues, friends and family throughout his life.
Robert graduated from West Deptford High School, Class of 1972. A dedicated worker throughout his life, he began his career as an auto mechanic, lending his skills to Ray O’Neil Buick and Valle and Bowe Car Dealerships. Later, Bobby worked for West Deptford Township Public Works before discovering his true calling as a bus driver with the Woodbury Public School District. He had a deep love for young people and always dreamed of having children of his own. Driving the school bus brought him a special joy and a sense of purpose, as he cherished every moment with the students who adored him as much as he did them.
Robert dedicated countless hours as a volunteer with the Mantua Township Volunteer Fire Company and Gloucester County Emergency Services. He held the position of Captain in the Centre City Department during his service.
