John W. Hagin, 66, passed away unexpectedly November 12, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Born on September 27, 1958, John dedicated an impressive 47 years of his life to serving his country. His military career spanned 30 years in the Air Force, where he earned numerous commendations and the deep respect of his peers. Following his retirement from active duty at the rank of chief master sergeant, John's commitment to service continued as a civilian employee within the Department of the Air Force until his passing.

Beyond his military career, John was a devoted family man. He cherished his wife, Patricia Hagin, and their 42 wonderful years together. He was immensely proud of his sons, Nicholas Larimer, Travis Larimer, and Kyle Hagin, and found immeasurable joy in being a grandfather to Katlyn, Dylan, Elias, Alice, Rowan, Maxwell, and Charles. He is also survived by his mother, Lorita Zangas and sister, Beth Hagin.

John will be remembered by those who knew him for his unwavering commitment and resolve in all aspects of his life. He was a man of integrity, loyalty, and dedication who touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. His family is comforted in knowing that he is in the presence of God.

A memorial service and military burial will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on November 26, 2024 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his honor to the National Park Foundation. A reception will  follow at Andrei’s restaurant at the Indian River Preserve Golf Club (3950 Clubhouse Dr, Mims, FL 32754). The reception will be from 11:30 to 2:30 and food will be provided.
