July 18th, 1939 - November 13th, 2024
Martha S. Inwards (1939-2024)
Martha Sifuentes Inwards, 85, returned to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
She was born on July 18, 1939 to Santos (1891-1951) and Beatriz Sifuentes (1914-2001) in Eagle Pass, Texas. Her favorite childhood memories included playing baseball with her father and siblings as well as visiting her Aunt Luisa in the summers and being treated to ice cream cones; a favorite of her’s until the very end. In the mid 1950s, she moved from Texas to Idaho with her mother and five of her seven siblings. It was in Weiser where she would meet Jerry Delton Inwards (deceased). They married in June 1961 and had four children together: Lori Ann, Diana Lynn, Richard “Ric” Paul and Roger Lee. She was affectionately referred to as “Grandma Gum” by her grandkids, as they could always count on her to slip them a piece of gum or a mint from her purse.
She was a compass of faith and a devout member of the Catholic Church praying the Holy Rosary faithfully throughout her life. Her devotion made her a beloved member of her church community and family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; siblings: Dora Elia, Maria del Carmen “Carmen” and Jorge Sifuentes; and grandchildren: Taylen and Kylie Marshall.
Her legacy is survived by her siblings, Maria Ester “Esther” Daniel, Ricardo Sifuentes, Enrique “Henry” Sifuentes and Maria del Rosario “Rosie” Fisher and their spouses and families; her four children: Lori, Diana, Ric and Roger and their spouses and families including 11 grandchildren: Amber, Ryan, Jacob, Couri, Dustin, Quinn, Danielle, Lane, Tori, Dayna and Amari and her 11 great grandchildren: Ellie, Kiya, Kaiden, Masen, Maddox, Tucker, Dru, Electra, Leilani, Malia and Cody; as well as her church community including her beloved godson, Travis Krasselt.
A viewing and rosary prayer service will take place on November 30, 2024 at 10AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11AM at Risen Christ Catholic Church located at 11511 Lake Hazel Rd in Boise, ID. She will later be interred at her final resting place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boise.

We Entrusted Martha Inwards's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
