Nancy Elizabeth Bell

Nancy E. Bell, a longtime resident of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024.  Born in Norton, MA on July 10, 1954.  She is predeceased by her loving parents, George and Rose (Pino) Bell, her beloved aunt Pauline Orford, and her cherished Godson and nephew George V. Bell. Nancy was a proud graduate of Norton High School and Stonehill College.  

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband Raul A. DaSilva and her loving brother, George W. Bell, and his wife Fran and children Aaron, Marisa and Sarah. Family members include; Adrianne DaSilva and her son Holden; Kristen Chervy and her children Victoria and Christopher; Betty DaSilva and family Beth, Lauren and Jonathan.  

In addition, Nancy’s cousins have played a central part in her life.  They include the D’Angelo family; the Pino family; and Carolyn Swift.

Nancy and her husband of 34 years, Raul enjoyed a beautiful life together in Florida with many close friends who she regarded as family. Nancy was a devoted wife and accomplished cook and loved baking gifts for family and friends.  Nancy and Raul have enjoyed the special companionship of three King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, Warren, Brianna and Lauren throughout the years. 

It would be wrong to omit the challenges Nancy battled daily living with Type 1 Diabetes for 63 years.  When things got tough, she got tougher. 

Nancy was a woman of deep faith who always looked for the good in others.  She never ended a conversation without saying “I love you and please tell everyone I love them”.  

A Celebration of Life, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, November 30th, at the Anderson McQueen funeral home in St. Petersburg, FL., with calling hours at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:30 and luncheon. A funeral mass, burial and luncheon are scheduled on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Foxboro, MA.
