Ivan Dean Raynor

With deep love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Ivan Dean Raynor, who went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 8, 2024, at the age of 64. He resided in Surprise, Arizona, where he touched the lives of many with his faith, kindness, and love for his family.

Ivan was born on February 24, 1960, in Madrid, Spain, to Betty Ann Lopez and Albert Glenn English. Proud to serve his country, Ivan joined the United States Marine Corps right after graduating high school in 1977, demonstrating courage, honor, and dedication throughout his service.

On April 28, 2001, Ivan married the love of his life, Rosie Raynor. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family, cherishing every moment they shared.

A man of deep faith, Ivan faithfully served the Lord throughout his life. His favorite Bible verse, Psalm 23 – "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing" – guided him daily, and his actions reflected his unwavering trust in God’s promises.

For 17 years, Ivan was a devoted Sales Representative at Ashley Furniture, where he was known not only for his strong work ethic but also for his warm spirit and willingness to share the love of Christ with his coworkers and customers.

Ivan’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Rosie Raynor; his children, Alicia Romero and Christina Strassburg; and his cherished grandchildren, Arieana Garcia-Cuoco, Noah Romero, Sofia Romero, and Isabella Strassburg. He is also survived by his siblings, Carla Bailey, Kelly Raynor, Wanda Gropper, Joseph Raynor and Marilyn Wood; his niece and nephews, Nina LaClair, Jamine Kispert, Lucas Raynor, Dalton Wood, Jonah Wood, and Karson Raynor; and his great nephews, Thomas and Jackson LaClair.

Though we grieve the loss of Ivan, we take comfort in the hope of eternal life promised through Jesus Christ. We rejoice in knowing he is now in the presence of the Lord, where there is no pain or sorrow, only peace and joy.

A celebration of Ivan’s life will be held on November 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Fresh Start Church in Peoria, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be brought to the celebration service, where a donation box will be available.

We are deeply grateful for the prayers, love, and support we have received during this time. Ivan’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion will remain in our hearts until we meet again in heaven.
