Mary Katherine Weymouth, 86, of Nicholasville, KY passed away on November 16, 2024 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Mary K was born in Boston, MA on December 22, 1937 to the late Frederick Bradley and Mary Frances Murphy.
Mary K graduated from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, MA in 1955. She went on to get a bachelor's degree in business and was an office manager at Mayflower Nursing Home in Plymouth, MA for over 30 years.
Mary K enjoyed traveling the world with her late husband and family. She was a lover of the theaters and enjoyed western movies. She was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. Mary K was a wonderful mother and devoted grandmother.
Mary K is survived by her daughters, Mary Ord and Kathy (Dave) Cuzick; seven granddaughters, Melinda Sue Burgess of RI, Becky Roy Murphy of TN, Brittany Kay Brandon of KY, Alexandra Kay (Taylor) Stai of KY, Briana Mary (Micheal) Heaney of CA, Anna Catherine Ord and Elizabeth Mary Ord of KY; Sisters, Carol and Lisa Bradley of MA. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, her extended Weymouth family and her beloved dog Pete. In addition to her parents, Mary K was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Frank Carleton Weymouth and son, Robert Bradley Weymouth.
A gathering for Mrs. Weymouth will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Clark Legacy in Nicholasville at 2pm. The memorial service will begin at 3pm. Mary K will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Weymouth to the Moose Lodge #2686.
