Clinton Melvin “Bill” Melton, 72, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024.

 

A native of Davidson County, NC, Bill was the husband of 53 years to Leah Gable Melton and the son of Melvin Clinton Melton and Patsy Ruth Doss Melton, both deceased. Bill and Leah were the owner/operators of Bill & Leah's Ice Cream & Cafe since 1989 where they have made many long-lasting friendships. He loved camping and was an avid fisherman. 

 

Survivors include his wife, Leah; daughter, Melissa Kutzer and husband, Kevin; granddaughter, Abigail Danae’ Melton, and coming soon, Baby Kutzer; brothers, Charles Gray “Dink” Doss and wife, Judy, and David Lee Melton and wife, Sena; step-brother, David McBride; and step-sister, Linda Perryman.

 

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Dale “Clint” Melton.

 

Funeral services celebrating Bill’s life will be held at 7:00PM Thursday, November21, 2024, at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Travis Shannon and Pastor Leon Thompson officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Thursday prior to the service in the church. A committal service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, November 22, 2024, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC.
