Paul Webb

Paul Webb, 82, of Pinellas Park, FL, and originally from Deep Creek, VA, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024, at Northside Hospital. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and veteran, Paul’s life was a shining example of kindness, humor, and generosity.

Born the youngest of twelve children on March 22, 1942 in Chilhowie, VA, Paul grew up in a large, close-knit family. He went on to serve his country with distinction, dedicating 21 years to the United States Air Force. His time in the service was marked by unwavering dedication and friendships that lasted a lifetime.

Paul was known for his striking blue eyes, his rich singing voice, and his incredible generosity. He was always ready to help others, often opening his home to those in need, including strangers, who found comfort and kindness under his roof.

Paul shared a lifelong love with his high school sweetheart and devoted wife, Bunny Webb, who will miss him deeply. Together, they created a loving family and a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bunny Webb; his daughter, Carrie Webb; his son, Guy Webb; his grandchildren, Dusty, Christopher, Justin, Samantha, and Violet; and his great-grand children Katelyn, Wyatt and Hunter. Paul is also survived by his two sisters, Toby Wigfield and Mary Lamm Smith.

Paul’s warmth, humor, and generosity will be profoundly missed but will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

His memorial service and internment will be held on November 26, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33708.  A Celebration of Life will be held in Norfolk, VA in December at a time that is still to be determined.
