Soultana (Silvia) Wells
June 30, 1931 – Passed away at the age of 93 in Kyle, Texas.
Silvia was a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida for 66 years. Originally from the small mountain village of Loutra in northern Greece, she endured the trials of the German occupation during World War II and the subsequent post-war communist insurrection. At the age of 25, Silvia married an American flyer and moved to St. Petersburg in 1958.
She is survived by her three sons, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Silvia was a devoted mother, deeply dedicated to her family.
Her dreams of traveling and building her ideal home were realized as she journeyed across Europe, the Middle East, and India, and constructed her dream house, which she enjoyed for two decades. Silvia was a woman of remarkable determination and tenacity, and her presence will be profoundly missed.
