Louis Frank Caracciolo

Louis Frank Caracciolo, age 84, was born on January 16, 1940, at St. Peters Hospital in Brooklyn, New, York.  Louis along with his brother, Anthony and sister, Jodi were the three children born to Josephine Magliulio Caracciolo and Santo Caracciolo. 

He was baptized on July 17, 1940, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary & St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church.  His Holy Communion was May 14, 1950, and his Confirmation was May 20, 1950.   

He married the love of his life, Theresa Marsala on December 2, 1961, at St. Frances de Chantal’s R.C. Church.  Louis and his family moved to Staten Island, New York in December of 1978. Their union created three beautiful children; John, Deborah, and Nicholas; five grandchildren, Evan and Aaron Caracciolo, Viv and Nicole Caneco, and Nikko Caracciolo. Louis and Theresa retired to Florida in August of 2004. 

Louis grew up in Carroll Gardens and had many friends that remained lifelong friends. He was also a truck driver in the transportation industry which allowed him to travel extensively.  

Louis was very loving and protective towards his family.  Meals and Holidays were always spent together as a family and all projects were family projects.   He loved to work on cars and Nicholas has fond memories of holding the flashlight at night while he worked.  Louis had many cars and also loved to watch football with his family. 

A Visitation and Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, with the Visitation beginning at 9:00am till 10:00am and the Memorial Mass beginning at 10:00am.  Military Honors will be rendered immediately after the Memorial Mass which will be at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9724 Cross Creek Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33647. 

Louis is well loved and will be missed by loving family and friends. Rest In Peace!
