Nancy L Artman

Nancy Lee Artman, 76, of Belleview, Florida, passed away on November 21, 2024.

Nancy was born in Dunnellon, Florida to George Amos Day and Mabel Massey on January 12, 1948. She married William Freas Artman, on August 8, 1963 in Ocala, Florida. She worked for Belleview Hardware for 15 years. She was a member of South Ocala Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents George Amos Day and Mabel Massey, siblings Theresa Franklin, George Day, Jr., Linda Turner, and Bernie Massey.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Freas Artman, Sr., children William (Candy) Artman Jr., Melissa (Don) Bowles; grandchildren McKenzie (Victor) Hockaday and Liam Artman, great-Granddaughter Hayden Marie Hockaday and many beloved step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 10:30 am Monday November 25, 2024 at Memorial Baptist Church 3693 SE 95th Street Ocala, FL.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday November 25, 2024 at Memorial Baptist Church 3693 SE 95th Street Ocala, FL with the Pastor George Ragsdale of West Marion Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Crum Cemetery in Summerfield, FL.

Please join the family for a luncheon at Memorial Baptist Church immediately following the graveside service. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of Belleview.
