Lowell Kelly Head 72, of Eidson, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2024. He was born on December 26, 1951 in Scott County, Virginia to the late Kelly and Ruby Head. Lowell was a faithful member of Shelby Creek Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eline Head; one sister; two infant brothers.
Survivors include his loving wife of 16 years, Nancy Charlene Head; sons, Joe (Jeremy) and Chris (Becky); stepdaughter, Teresa Short (Wayne); stepson, Tim Byington (April); sisters, Lorene Eldridge and Bonnie Wilson (Ed); brother, Clarence Head (Jo); grandchildren, Levi, Paisley, Kaliegh, Tyler, Isaiah, and Corbin; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Wally Berry officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Monday, November 25, 2024 at the Johnson Head Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50pm.
