Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home
Roger Henry Cluver
October 24th, 1943 - November 23rd, 2024
Roger is on his journey home. Slipping into the night of November 23, he's joined loved ones who preceded him. Second son of Alfred “Doc” and Laurie Cluver, he was born on October 24, 1943. On September 6, 1975 he married Christine Morse and together they had two children, Matthew and Martha.
Roger was employed at Jones Dairy Farm for 40 years. He had the privilege to know Bud, Milo, Ted and Philip Jones personally.
He was actively involved in kids' sports, coaching soccer, basketball, baseball and was general manager for the Generals baseball team for many years. Until back injuries disabled him, he was an avid golfer.
He is survived by wife, Christine, son Matthew (Karen) and children Chrislynn and Terrance, and daughter Martha (Caleb Burhans) and daughter, Fiona; brothers Kenneth (Eileen), Brian and Gary (Patricia) and many nieces and nephews.
The bright stars in his life were his children whom he supported with love and direction. As they've grown and had families of their own, they know the sacrifices he made. And so goes the circle of life.
Special thanks to Sharon, Meleq and Sarah. There will be no services, but memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Rainbow Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church.
