Joseph Michael Demmi

In loving memory of Joseph Michael Demmi, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, friend, and Veteran. Big Joe passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Joseph and Hortense Demmi on August 8, 1938. He was the big brother to his late sister, Arlene Amo. Surviving are his four children, Mark Demmi, Jolayne Demmi Rotolo (Terry), Traci Demmi Stokes (Christopher), Joseph Michael Demmi, Jr. (Melissa); He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Dylan, Jake, Nicholas, Makenna and Joshua; brother-in-law Eddie Amo; 2 nephews, E.J. Amo (Mandy), and Michael Amo. Joe spent two years in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam. Shortly after, Joe started a successful lawn sprinkler business and owned rental properties throughout West Tampa. Later, Joe founded Casinos Worldwide towards the end of his career. Joe was a very generous man who had a zest for life and touched many people with friendships that lasted his entire life. Joe could light up any room and enjoyed big band music, dancing, food, and had a passion for movies. There was nothing more important to Big Joe than his family. Joe will be dearly missed.
