January 24th, 1945 - November 20th, 2024
Barbara JoAnn Salaba passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, at the age of 79. Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose humor, willful spirit, and warmth touched many lives.Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved son, Timothy Salaba, whose memory she cherished deeply. She is survived by her loving children, Julia Cole, Christine Reil, Wendy Salaba Lyons, Matthew Salaba and John Salaba, along with many grand and great grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her sisters, Sandra Young and Carole Cole as well as her two lifelong friends, Joanne and Jill.A private interment will take place on Friday, December 6. To honor Barbara's life and legacy, a gathering will be held on Saturday, December 7, from 1 to 5 p.m. at 900 Robert Street South. Memorials preferred.
