Ernestine "Tina" Lujan, 80, of Denver, CO, sadly took her last breath on Sunday, November 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Tina was survived by her husband of 59 1/2 years, Roger Lujan, Sr., her 5 children, Mike Lujan, Yvonne Lujan, Yolanda Lujan, Roger Lujan, Jr., Yvette Hagerty, Her Oldest Grandson raised as a son, Domanic Muro, her son-in-law Tony Hagerty and daughter-in-law Terri Cruz Lujan, 9 Grandkids, 34 Great Grandkids, her brother Arthur Manzanares, many cousins, God Children, nieces, nephews, and numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mom Tomasita Manzanares, her 2 brothers, Pete Manzanares and Frank Martinez, and her sister Susie Butler.
She was born on May 7, 1944, in Antonito, CO, where she was raised and graduated in 1963, she started dating her husband in 1964, and they were married on May 15, 1965 in Elko, NV. They lived a short time in Salt Lake City, Utah, and moved to Denver shortly after, where they raised their family. She started working for Western Hills as a Spanish Aid Teacher, later on life she started working for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she retired as a Real Estate Specialist GS-12 after 18 years.
Tina was an amazing wife, mom, grandma and GG, she always made every person she ever met feel like they were family. She loved everyone unconditionally and without judgement. Her belief in God brought her through every moment in her life. She taught us all to believe and have faith. She was an Angel here on earth and now she is one in Heaven. Rest Easy Viejita, until we see each other again.
