Warren James Carney, 74 of Charleston, South Carolina passed away on November 24, 2024.  Born in Boston, Massachusetts is the son of the late Warren Edward Carney Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth Carney (Stoltz).

Warren was a Navy Veteran. He is a former disc jockey and went by the name Bob Scott. He also DJ’ed events and had an extensive record collection which mainly featured the 1950's thru 1970's. Warren was an avid sports fan and loved to talk and debate about his favorite teams and their competition. Boston Bruins 1970 was one of his favorite talking points.  Besides his Boston teams he was a big fan of the Charleston River Dogs.  Warren held many many many other jobs around the Charleston area over the years and was a member of Faith Church.

 

He is survived by his sister Sandra Murray of Hemet, California and brother Wayne Carney of Charlotte, North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
