Dolores Arlene Meissner was born November 1, 1934, to Howard and Opal (Hoffman) Reed in Denver, Colorado. Dolores grew up in Denver, Colorado and married James Meissner. They had three children James, Marcie, and Karen. Dolores loved spending time with her family and her dogs. She really loved the dachshund breed and had many of them over her lifetime. Spud, Heidi, Sophie, and Johnson were a few of her favorite companions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Louis Gene Reed, husband, James Meissner, son, James J. Meissner.
Dolores is survived by her brother Larry Howard Reed and sister Barbara Diane Moore; daughters, Marcie (Robert) Kay Blankenship and Karen (Jerry) Fay Pfannenstiel; grandchildren, Jacob (Bianca) Meissner, Samuel Meissner, Lori (Juan) Diaz, Jarrod Pfannenstiel, Kelly (Brad) Mrosla, Sarah (Sean) Andreano, Beth (Randall) Janda; great-grandchildren, Abigail Andreano, Lucas Andreano, Connor Andreano, Colton Janda, Ashlynn Janda, Alex Diaz, Olivia Diaz, James Meissner, Aiden Meissner, Leilani, River Pfannenstiel.
