Obituary for Debra “Debbie” CampbellNovember 12, 1958 – November 20, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra “Debbie” Campbell, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Debbie passed away peacefully at home in Portland, Oregon, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous battle with illness.

Born on November 12, 1958, in Noblesville, Indiana, Debbie lived a life defined by strength, authenticity, and love. She was unapologetically herself, a woman of fierce honesty and vibrant spirit. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, making even the quietest among us feel seen and valued. Her warmth, humor, and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Debbie is survived by her children, Andrea, James, Julie, and stepdaughter Angela; her cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Theque, Oria, PJ, and Destry; her brother Luis Odle and his wife Cynthia, along with their daughters Heidi and Natalie; and countless cousins, friends, and extended family who held a special place in her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Louie Odle, as well as her siblings Kathy and Larry Odle.

Debbie faced life’s challenges with grace and an open heart, teaching her family the values of compassion, resilience, and authenticity. To know Debbie was to experience a rare gift—her genuine care, infectious humor, and boundless love.

She will be cremated, and a private service will be held by the family to honor her memory. Condolences may be sent to her children at:

A Personal Tribute from Her Family:

Debbie was not only our mom but also our inspiration. She was the strongest, most vibrant person we’ve ever known. Life wasn’t always easy for her, but she faced it with honesty, courage, and grace. She taught us to be genuine, compassionate, and unshakably strong.

Her love for us and her belief in who we could be made us who we are. She carried us through life with her unwavering encouragement, and now, we carry her with us—in our hearts, our actions, and our memories.

To anyone who knew her, she was unforgettable. We love you so much, Mom. You’ll forever be our guiding light.

Rest in peace. You will always be loved.
