Jefferson Davis Smith IV, 71, husband of Shirley Smith, passed away on November 25, 2024 in Lexington. Mr. Smith was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on June 27, 1953 to the late Jefferson Davis III and Joyce Shell Smith. He was a farmer for many years and a member of the Lexington Farmers Market.He is survived by his wife Shirley, his stepson Eric Griffin and step- grandson, Aiden Griffin, and his daughter, Miranda Smith and grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marquerite Bratton.
Visitation for Mr. Smith will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 12pm until 1pm at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Tim Jumpp. Private burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
