Our Beloved Mother Janet (Casity) Wood, born in Borger, Texas on April 16, 1943, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 19, 2024, in Pine Grove Ca.
Janet enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, bingo, watching game shows on tv and going to the casino. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch watching the hummingbirds land/eat from the hummingbird feeder. Her great-grandchildren called her Cookie Grandma because she was always baking delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Janet is survived by her four children, Don (Carol) Wood, Diane (Gary) Henricus, Dennis (Linda) Wood, and Deborah (John) Beshears. Eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Douglas Casity and Jerry Casity.
Janet is preceded in death by her beloved husband (of 60 years) Richard Wood. Her father Alvin Casity, mother Gladys Casity, and brother Bruce Casity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
