Lora Fern Ager

Lora Fern Ager, born on March 1, 1943, to Orville N. Capansky and Elma Fern (Hickey) Capansky, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024. Lora's life was marked by her dedication to family, hard work, and a loving spirit that touched all who knew her.

Lora married the love of her life, Gary Ager, on July 18, 1964. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared many cherished memories. Their union was blessed with two children, Kirk Ager (Linda) and Lalonna Ager (Eric), who were the pride and joy of Lora's life.

Lora had a fulfilling career, working for Colorado Springs Utilities, serving as a bookkeeper for Gary B Ager Construction, which later became Ager Excavating INC, and contributing her skills to Walter Drake and US West Communications. Her dedication and work ethic were evident in all she did.

Family was everything to Lora. She is survived by her beloved children, Kirk Ager (Linda) and Lalonna Ager (Eric). She was a proud grandmother to Michael Ager, Christopher Ager (Chyanne), Britney Mohn (Xavier), Tye Bunker (Morgan), Christopher Crist (Ariana), and Kyle Ager (Haylee). Her great-grandchildren, Addison, Grayson, Alyvia, and Natalie Ager, Phoenix, Tatianna, and Kiara Mohn, and Damien and Allison Bunker, brought immense joy to her life.

Lora is also survived by her sister, Alice Martin, and her brother, John Capansky (Janet). She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Ager, her parents, Orville and Elma, her brothers, Norville, Stanley, and Merlin, and her sisters, Charlotte, Nancy, and Mary.

Lora's will be deeply missed by her  friends and family.  Her love and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Lora's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share in the joy she brought to their lives.

Rest in peace, Mom. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
