Michelle St. Amand Mineart
November 10th, 1960 - November 22nd, 2024
Michelle Mineart, beloved mother, wife, and friend passed away early in the morning on November 22, 2024 after a two-and-a-half-year battle with pancreatic and angiosarcoma cancers. She was born on November 10, 1960 in Corona, California, and has lived in Mill Creek, Washington for 35 years.
All remember her as kind, loving, and immensely caring. She was devoted to her family and was involved in her daughters' lives, supporting the PTA, leading Girl Scout troop campouts, and organizing Vacation Bible School. She was an exceptional seamstress, crafting custom Halloween costumes and heirloom quilts for her loved ones. In recent years, she has been a part of the Snohomish Clothing & Textile Advisors teaching kids how to sew. Her Christmas toffee and cookies are legendary, and her baking will be missed.
Soaking up “beach ions” at the ocean brought her peace, the Pacific Ocean was one of her favorite places. The recent birth of her grandson Conner brought great joy to her life, and Conner loved spending time with his Grandma. The positivity she had while faced with cancer was unwavering, she never lost hope, and her bright outlook on life was an inspiration.
She is survived by her husband Michael, daughters Christine and Jeanine, son-in-law Neal, and adorable grandson Conner. She also leaves her loving siblings Malia, Maureen, Julie, and Joe along with their spouses and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Joanne and Joseph St. Amand, and her daughters Melanie and Allison. Countless friends, neighbors, and peers hold her memory sweetly in their hearts. We are heartbroken to have lost her, and grateful for the happiness and warmth she brought to our lives.
Michelle will be remembered as the sweetest, kindest, and most loving person by everyone she touched. She will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 5, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bothell, WA. A private ceremony will follow at Holyrood Cemetery.
In memory of Michelle, for those who would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, we would recommend either of these two organizations: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network: https://pancan.org/ or Lipstick Angels: https://lipstickangels.org/
