Harry La Verre “Skip” Jacks, 75, Ellenton, died November 19,2024. Born October 2, 1949 in Michigan City, Indiana moved to Bradenton in 1957.
He attended Ballard Elementary School, Walker Jr. High, graduated from Manatee High School in 1968. He then went to Manatee Vo-Tech, became an electrician and worked at Tropicana for 33 years.
He is survived by his partner Dana Pinkerton-Phillips, Sister Harriatt “Skeeter” Smith (Jacks), Brother-in-law Paul Smith, daughter Hope Beckett, grandchildren Taylor Noble and Tristen Beckett, great grandchildren Wazey Williams and Winlee Williams as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements handled by Griffith-Cline Funeral home.
