Gary L. Spaulding, 79, of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Zilber Family Hospice.  He was born on January 27, 1945, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee to Gerald and Margaret Spaulding.  Gary married Patricia Marks on February 2, 1963, in Waukesha.  Gary graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1963.  He began a career at RTE/Cooper Power in 1966 and retired from there in 2006.  While at RTE/Cooper Power, he attended WCTC and graduated in 1970 with a degree in industrial maintenance. Gary was a past member of the Waukesha Old Car Club.  He enjoyed spending time restoring old vehicles.  When he was not working on vehicles, Gary enjoyed woodworking and watching the Brewers, Bucks, Badgers, and NASCAR.  He was a 50-year member of the First United Methodist Church in Waukesha. Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia, surviving children:  Janet, Jerry, Michele, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and other close family members. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, a brother, and a sister. A special thank you to Dr. Robert Schellinger for his exceptional care of Gary throughout the years. A Service of Remembrance to honor Gary's life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at First United Methodist Church, located at 121 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the service commences at 12:00 PM. A luncheon with light refreshments and fellowship will immediately follow. 

 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the church.
