Thomas C. Tardif passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on October 20, 1952, in Waukesha, WI, to parents Walter and Mildred Tardif (nee Arndt), Tom lived a full life centered around family, hard work, and simple joys.
Tom had a deep love for the Green Bay Packers, a perfectly grilled steak, and a good beer. He devoted his life to his family and his passion for trucking and snow plowing, building a legacy as the owner of Tom Tardif Trucking and Grading.
He will be deeply missed by his loving partner, Julie Cooper, his children, Jennifer Finn and Tracy (Ryan) Gardner, and his cherished grandchildren, Cody (Sara) Gardner, Jackson Finn, and Kayla (Ben Verhoff) Gardner. Tom’s legacy continues through his great-grandchild, Addison Gardner, as well as a host of friends, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mildred and his fur baby Max.
Family and friends are invited to honor Tom’s life at a visitation on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until the start of services at 6:00 p.m. at Cesarz Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188.
