We are saddened to announce the recent passing of Molly Jean (Hunt) Erezuma, age 74, of stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma. Molly was born on May 2,1950, to Gib and June Hunt. Molly was a lifelong resident of the Caldwell/Nampa area. She was a 1968 graduate of Caldwell High and a 1972 graduate of the College of Idaho. She had a long and varied career serving the elderly, disadvantaged, and special-needs persons and their families in the Treasure Valley.
Molly was a unique, independent, and adventurous person with a kind heart, generous spirit, and sharp sense of humor. She loved her family and valued close friendships. Prompted by her 35-year marriage to José Erezuma, she immersed herself in Basque culture – visiting José’s family in Spain, mastering skills in Basque cuisine and cooking, and sharing time with José’s family and friends and in local Basque events.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents and husband, José. She is survived by her five siblings and their extended families. At her request, no funeral or related events are planned. In lieu of contributions, Molly would ask that people share memories and more time with family and friends.
