William George Waterman
December 5th, 1949 - November 26th, 2024
William (Bill) G. Waterman, 74, of Evans passed away November 26, 2024 at UC Health Greeley Hospital
He was born December 5, 1949 in Greeley CO to Glenn C. Waterman Sr. and Melba L. (Kendeigh) Waterman. He graduated from Leadville High School in Leadville CO in 1968.
Bill was in the Navy from March 1969 – 1973, he served on the USS Gautalope as a boatsman. He entered Vietnam 6 times at sea and on land, rebuilding a hospital. Bill received the National Defense medal, Vietnam service medal with 2 bronze stars, Vietnam campaign with device, armed forces medal (Korea). He received an Associated Degree in Business. He worked at Carestream (Kodak) as a material planner for 36 years.
Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, yardwork, watching sports, playing basketball & baseball, the computer, and horseback riding.
Bill was a loving and compassionate man.
Bill is survived by his wife Sharon K. Waterman of Evans; son Richard T. Waterman (Alissa), son Robert T. Waterman (Elaine), daughter Alissa T. Waterman, two stepsons that he loved as his own John G. Snyder and Chris G. Snyder, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers Glenn Waterman Jr., Richard Waterman, Paul Waterman, and sister Gayle Chaney.
Visitation to be held at Adamson Life Celebration Home on Friday December 6th starting at 10:00am followed by funeral service at 11:00am
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Adamson Life Celebration Home 2000 47th Avenue Greeley CO 80634
