George Washington Parks III, 94, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. 

 

Legacy

He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, and feeding the birds and squirrels.  George loved playing Bingo with family and friends and going to the casinos.

 

Family

He is the beloved husband of the late Audrey Parks. Devoted father of George IV (Cathy), John R. (Jan), Kathy (Edward), Terry (Jeanne), PeggySue (late Robert), David (Marie), and Lisa (Late Ben).  Adored grandfather of Kimberly, George V, Steven, Brian, Jason, KathyJo (Mike), Lauren, late Eddie, Vicki, Christina, Jennifer, Michelle, Robert, Ryan, KarlieSue, Jinelle, Amanda, Brittany, Anthony, Lindy, and Mike.  Dear brother of  Jimmy "Hip" (Kathy).  Predeceased by his parents Edith and George Parks II and siblings Ted, Whitey, and Irma. He will be greatly missed by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

 

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, December 13th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM in the Blessed Hope Community Church, 115 Andaloro Way, Westville, NJ 08093.  Funeral Service at 6:00PM.  Interment will be private.
