David Anthony Marksberry

Frankfort - David Anthony Marksberry, 70, passed away on November 29, 2024, in Frankfort. He is survived by his only son, David Anthony Marksberry Jr, of Lexington and brother, Timothy Johnson, of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Gill and father Estill Marksberry, and three sisters, Sue Mitchell, Theresa White, Tammy Dews and a brother, Marvin Marksberry.. David was born in Owenton, Kentucky on December 12, 1953, and was the fourth child to Virginia and Estill. He graduated from Franklin County High School and also attended Kentucky State University to become a park ranger. His love for animals and nature was unmatched. David loved rock music, television and family dinners. If you ever visited David, you always heard his radio playing.
A memorial service will be held at Leestown Gospel Church on Wilkerson Blvd. on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Condolences may be left at www.clarklegacycenter.com
