Michael Wayne Burns

Michael Wayne Burns who passed away on November 27, 2024, at 1:55AM, at the ICU unit at Anschutz Medical Campus University hospital in Denver. 

Michael was in the U.S. Army Vietnam PFC. He had four tours of duty in Saigon. He also worked as an Autobody man for many years. He was a very awesome dad and he made men out of us boys and loved us very much. Dad also loved the holidays. 

Michael was survived by his three sons, Justin, Eric, and Fred; his sisters, Carlene Batz, of Widefield, Colorado, Dawn Schueltz, of Rogers City, Michigan, and a sister in Canda; nieces, Cindy (Brian) Schueltz, of Rogers City, Michigan, and Danielle Betz, of Widefield, Colorado; nephew, Chris Betz, of Widefield, Colorado; brother, Carl Johnson, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughters-in-law, Brenda Johnson, and Wanda; adopted daughter, Brandi Wyn; sister-in-law, Carol Ader; niece, Charity Muhm; granddaughter, Lily; good friend for many years, Don Erickson, of Shell Knob, Missouri; friend, Johnny Martinez; as well as many friends, and Tracey Martin who was apart of the family since 2014 when she became dads caregiver and kept him very happy, saved his life numerous times, she is our sister, Thank you Tracey.  

Mike is preceded in death by his mother, Marion Johnson; father, Carl Johnson Sr; brothers, Thomas Allen Burns, Doug Burns, Walter Burns, and Jerry Burns; sister, Norma Johnson; son, Joseph Preston Burns; 1st wife, Dora Jane Ader; 2nd wife, Debra Brandenhopf, and Debbie Brandenhopf; brother-in-law, Daniel Lee Betz, and Martin Schuelts; mother-in-law, Olive May Ader; father-in-law, Sanford Preston Ader; uncle, Robert Lee; grandmother, Clara Lee; grandfather, Robert Lee.

He had many medical issues that he fought and got through. He was a Christian man. On November 27, 2024, at 1:55AM, Michael (Dad) entered Eternal Life.
