Henrietta "Penny" Raymond
November 17th, 1935 - November 28th, 2024
"Tell the truth. Sing with passion. Work with laughter. Love with heart. Cause, that's all that matters in the end."
Henrietta (Penny) Raymond (1935-2024)
Henrietta (Penny) Picard Raymond, beloved mother to 4 children, Christopher Raymond (Sue), of Casper, WY; Cindy Beitel (Danny) of Tucson, AZ; Craig Raymond (Tina) of Tucson, AZ, and Tony Raymond (1961-2017), passed away peacefully in Tucson, AZ on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, leaving a void her family cannot fill. Penny was born in Philipsburg, PA in 1935 to Earl and Gertrude Picard, and grew up in the small town of Frenchville, PA. After high school Penny married Tim Raymond and they settled down to raise a family in Claymont, Delaware. After years in Claymont, in 1979, they made a big life change and moved to Green River, WY where they discovered a love for golf. After retirement, Tim and Penny moved to Tucson, AZ full time, spending summers in Buffalo, WY, until Tim passed in 1996. Penny loved her home and time in Buffalo. Penny took special joy in being a Mom to her four children and keeping up on their busy lives! Penny was preceded in death by her husband Tim, and her son Tony, who surely were waiting for her in heaven! She is survived by her daughter Cindy, and sons Chris and Craig, along with 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, all of whom will miss her! Per Penny’s wishes, there will be no services. We will celebrate her life and spread her ashes next summer in the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming, where she will forever be with Tim.
