A Legacy of Love and Dedication
Alex was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Known for his boundless kindness and willingness to help others, he brought light to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Alex had a passion for tinkering—whether it was working on computers, repairing cars, or fixing things around the house. He cherished the outdoors, spending countless joyful moments hiking in the woods or going on fishing and crabbing trips with his family to Fortescue, NJ. An ardent lover of 1960s and 70s music, Alex’s life was a melody of treasured memories and shared laughter.
Family First
Alex shared a remarkable 51 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Patricia J. "Patti" Mastrando (née Corsoe). Together, they built a family centered on love and resilience. He was a devoted father to Alexander III and Joshua (David) and a proud grandfather to Nicole, Noah, Jeremiah, and Joshua Jr.. Alex was also a dear brother to Anthony Mastrando, Anna (Frank) Broomell, and Loretta (John) Morrison. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander Sr. "Sonny" and Elva M. Mastrando (née Kane), and his beloved sister Mary Angela Mastrando, he leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love that will be forever cherished by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
