After a long illness, Eileen Patricia Crane, born Patricia Eileen Clarke in 1945 and beloved wife of Michael B. Crane, passed away peacefully at age 79 on December 3, 2024. She pointed towards heaven as she passed away. Eileen’s early years were spent growing up on Rucker Avenue in Everett, WA. She is the daughter of John and Dolores Clarke of Everett, WA. Eileen attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School and later graduated from Everett HS in 1964.  After attending the Vancouver, WA School for the Deaf, Eileen moved to Seattle to work at Frederick & Nelson as a Bookkeeping and Data Entry Clerk. In 1973, she met her future husband Michael Crane of Seattle. They were married in 1974.   They lived in Shoreline, WA until mid-1994. When there was a relocation to a Denver, CO suburb. In Denver, Eileen did data entry for two banks. That was followed by a teacher's aide position at La Petite Academy in Thornton. Eileen gleefully retired from that position in 2010. Eileen and Mike attended IHM Catholic church in Northglenn. In 2015, they returned to the NW to live in Nampa, ID.  They traveled frequently.  Canada, Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, Hawaii, and many stateside destinations were visited. Eileen is survived by her husband, her sister Kathleen Schwartz of Beaverton, OR; her sister Dolores Desserault of Boise, ID; her brother Fr. Kevin Clarke SJ of Portland, OR and her sister, Jeanne McDonald of Olympia, WA. Eileen deeply loved her supportive family as well as every aspect of Christmas. She couldn’t pass up a Christmas shop.   Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, January 10th at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Meridian. Interment will be in the Holy Apostles Columbarium.  Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com

 

Memorials may be made in memory of Eileen to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or the St. Ignatius Catholic School in Meridian, ID.
