Alyce L. Unrein (Shepherd), age 99, passed away on Nov. 26, 2024 in Littleton, Colorado. She was born on Jan.13, 1925 in McCook, Nebraska to Agnes and Frank Shepherd. Alyce married Gerard A. Unrein on Sept. 4, 1948 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They had three children, Jerry (Judy), Alyce T., and Kathryn (Mark). Her grandchildren are Michael, Sara, Riley (Greg), and Koby. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard, and son, Jerry.

 

Alyce loved her children and grandchildren. They affectionately called her Mimi. She had one great grandchild, Andi, that gave her great joy. She lovingly called her Twinkle Toes and always enjoyed her FaceTimes with Andi.

 

The memorial service will be private with internment at Fort Logan Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bloom Hospice.
