Carol Lee Matthews

Age 80, 06/30/1944 - 12/05/2024

Carol was born in Denver Colorado in 1944 to Kenneth and Virginia Hardy, and was a graduate of Westminster High School, Class of 1962.

She was a loving wife to John N.G. Matthews who preceded her in death in 2007. Carol is survived by her children Linda McGhee (Tim) and Mark Matthews (Kerry); Granddaughters Amanda, Sarah, and Caitlin; Great Grandchildren Lyra, Greyson, Donny, Berkleigh, Willow, and Loving Friend and Partner Paul Brekus; and is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Wilfred Hardy II.

Carol enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Carol had many hobbies including knitting, gambling, and collecting antiques.  In her last few years she really enjoyed traveling and taking on new adventures with Paul. Carol will be missed by so many, yet her legacy will live on.

We love you mom and will see you in heaven!
