Robert Leo Choquette, Sr
February 5th, 1951 - November 10th, 2024
Robert Leo Choquette (also known as Florida Bob or Uncle Bobby), 73, of Brandon, Florida passed away November 10,2024 at his home.
Residing in Florida after his time in the army in Vietnam, he was an electrician at the VA hospital in Tampa, Florida for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fayann Choquette; and his sister and brother in law, Vicky and Kenny Langenmyer. Robert is survived by his grandchildren Kristen Hernandez, Erica Thomas, and Jacob Shell; great grandchildren Isabella Hernandez and Amari Thomas; and son Robert Jr. and stepdaughter Vicki Piccione and many more extended family members.
Robert was a very independent, resourceful and loving individual. He cared for his loving wife when she was sick and helped raise two of his grandchildren. He also began showing his creative side at the later part of his life by starting to diamond paint.
Robert’s memorial service will be Friday, December 13th, 2024 at 11am at Bay Pines Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida.
