Pastor Danny Rhoden went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 28, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born in Mountainair, New Mexico on September 11, 1946, to Guy and Suzanna (Schmidt) Rhoden. Andrea, his loving wife of almost 26 years, was by his side till his final breath.

Pastor Danny had a fire for reaching people for Jesus. He was in the evangelistic field for many years while driving an 18-wheeler coast to coast. He later stepped away from truck driving and accepted the role of Pastor, along with his wife,  over Voice of Victory International Ministries in Midland TX, which later settled in Albuquerque NM.  He and his wife were also the Christians United For Israel local city directors for Midland and Odessa TX. His service to the Lord was his drive in life, as well as working in ministry alongside his wife, whom he absolutely adored and called his redhead freckled face girl.

Pastor Danny’s love for people was deep. He never met a stranger. He never hesitated to be of help and was a phone call away and would drop anything to do so. He saw potential in people that they did not see in themselves and would help them grow to reach that. Pastor Danny was a strong leader. He founded a program called Freedom, Training, and Missions where his team helped people find freedom in Jesus and trained them to become leaders to walk in the calling and mission on their life.

He loved and cared for his family and left a legacy for them to follow. His granddaughter once said “It’s not fair that so many people in this world will never get the chance to meet and know Grandpa. He was the best!”

Pastor Danny was preceded in death by his father, Guy, and mother Suzanna. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Andrea (Mosqueda) Rhoden, sister Charlotte Yoder (recently deceased husband Don), daughter Tammy Parker, sons Bruce (Alicia) Rhoden and Brett Rhoden. Stepchildren Toby (Veronica) Jaramillo, Francesca Jaramillo, Amanda Jaramillo, Angel (Art) Silva. Grandchildren Bryce (Tayler) Parker, Tanea Parker, Kaysen and Kyla Rhoden, Blaze and Dayzee Rhoden, Casie (Ian), Brittany (Jamel), Andrew, Alexis (Jayseph), Alyssa, Charlize, Anthony, Jonathen, Jayden, Francois, Bijou, Isaiah, and Selena. Great-grandchildren Zephaniah Parker and Malachi Parker, Jayseph and Mila.

A celebration of life service will be held in Spring of 2025.
