It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Loescher, a beloved Son, Brother, Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Uncle and Friend. John passed away peacefully on Sunday December 8, 2024.  

John was born on February 16, 1942 to Anna Löscher Hartig in Hadad Romania. John and his family emigrated to the United States from Romania via Austria in March of 1956. John lived a life full of love, laughter, and generosity. He was a devoted husband to Dorothy for 44 years. A dedicated father to five children, big brother to all his siblings and their spouses, caring uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and loving grandpa and great grandpa. John cherished every moment with his family, always ready to help or assist with a loving heart and helping hand. John will be well known for his sense of humor and friendly nature. He had a way of brightening any room he entered. His generosity knew no bounds and his kindness touched countless lives. John loved to spend time with family and friends camping, fishing, and ATV riding. John had a long and dedicated career with Producers (Valley-Wide) where he worked from 1975 until his retirement in 2008.

John is survived by his spouse Dorothy, children Tracy (Dawn) Loescher, Tina Naillon, Shawn (Daniella) Alsup, Shane Alsup (Arlene Fuqua), Paul (Julie) Alsup. Four siblings, sixteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mom Anna and son-in-law Calvin Naillon.

 John’s warmth and humor made the world a brighter place. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at Flahiff Funeral Chapels in Caldwell.
