Sarah Klotz (nee McDonald) passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, at the age of 91. Born in Waukesha, WI, on August 26, 1933, to James and Edna McDonald (nee Schultz). Sarah shared her love of music as a member of the Sweet Adelines singing group and the choir at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waukesha. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and treasured time spent with her family.
Sarah will be lovingly remembered by her children, Karen (Donald) Decker, Sandra (Andrew) Verburgt, Laurie (Curtis) Krueger, Edward (Jill) Klotz, and Donna (the late Raymond) Czerwinski; her 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wallace; her parents; her siblings; and her daughter, Kathleen.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 13, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of services at 11:00 a.m. at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5901 Westway, Greendale, WI 53129. Followed by burial services at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Word Today, P.O. Box 77, Greendale, WI 53129.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Esther Foreman and the Castle Care Hospice staff for their loving care and support.
