Paul Hensley, 53, of West Columbia, SC, passed away December 8, 2024 at Lexington Hospice House after a battle with melanoma. He was born on April 3, 1971 in Columbia, SC to Jon Hensley and Laurette Kirkland. Paul was a decorated Army Veteran. He was a loving husband, father, and son who had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone. He was known for his kindness and outgoing personality.
Paul is survived by his wife, Mariel; son, John; mother, Laurette Kirkland; father, Jon Hensley; sister, Sonya Hensley; nephews, Mohammed and Hamza; nieces, Lulu, Isra, and Ayah.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on December 10, 2024 from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on December 11, 2024 at Thompson Funeral Home. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
