Jim's distinguished career in the United States Navy spanned two decades from 1945 to 1965, retiring with the honored rank of Senior Chief Construction Electrician. His commitment and expertise took him to numerous posts, including the Philippines, Taiwan, Antarctica, and Washington, D.C., leaving a lasting legacy within the Naval community. A man of unwavering faith, Jim was a devout Catholic who attended daily Mass. He was known for his humor and loyalty, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. When not surrounded by family and friends, he could often be found immersed in woodworking, an expression of his creativity and attention to detail. Out of devotion to our Blessed Mary, Mother of Jesus, he created hundreds of beautiful rosaries that he gave out during his community outreach providing communion to the sick.
