Lucy Nell Robbins
October 10th, 1928 - December 6th, 2024
Mrs. Lucy “Nell” Robbins, age 96, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice Forsythe House in Auburndale. Mrs. Robbins was born October 10, 1928, in Alma, Georgia to Ira and Gussie (Posten) Vickers. She was an Auburndale resident since the 1940’s, coming from Alabama. Nell retired as an Attendant in the Oil Room for Coca Cola Foods in Auburndale. She was a member of Orange Street Church of Christ of Auburndale. Nell enjoyed bowling, reading her Bible, sewing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – James Thomas Robbins; 4 brothers – Rex, Curtis, James & David and 2 sisters – Edna & Wilma. Nell is survived by her loving family, son – James Thomas Robbins, Jr. of Winter Haven, Florida; 3 daughters – Patricia Ann Shelton of Winter Haven, Florida, Terri L. (Jim) Kirkland of Auburndale, Florida & Beth (Les) Cahoon of Lakeland, Florida; 4 grandchildren – Wayne, Anjie, Eric (Somer) & Kayden; 5 great grandchildren – Lilly, Brandon (Jaime), Hailey (Riley), Spencer & Olivia and 4 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 11am Monday, December 16th at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue, Auburndale.
