Brady Moss
September 25th, 1959 - December 6th, 2024
Brady Moss passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2024. He was found in his car on a freeway onramp, having passed away of undetermined causes. Our hearts are broken.
Brady grew up in Renton, WA, near Lake Kathleen, and graduated from Issaquah High School. He will be remembered for his creativity, helpful nature, and kind heart. Brady was a self-taught artist, known for his distinctive folk art. From intricate wood carvings to colorful, beaded designs on canes for family members, and even hand-painting his trucks in bold, wild patterns, Brady’s work was unmistakably his own.
He also had a gift for music, especially the flute. Brady played in bands and performed the Star-Spangled Banner by request for special events.
Brady loved working with his hands and found joy in all kinds of projects. Whether it was landscaping, electrical work, plumbing, or repairs, he was always eager to help. One of his favorite traditions was decorating his mother’s home with elaborate Christmas lights, bringing joy to the whole neighborhood.
Brady lived life on his own terms, and though his path was not always easy, he had a good heart and was always there for family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Maggie Moss (Mitchell); his mother, Fay Moss; his brothers, Biff Moss and Joe Moss (Donna); his sister, Shannon Grella (Scott); and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Moss.
A memorial service will be held in January.
