Michael Ivan Yingling

Michael Ivan Yingling, 73, of Land O Lakes, FL, passed away on December 6, 2024. Born on September 25, 1951, in Oakland, California, Michael was a beloved husband, father, Peepaw, son, brother, and friend.  

Michael was a natural teacher and entrepreneur. Driven by the desire to provide for his family and leave a lasting impact, he spent several years teaching heating and air conditioning courses at a local technical high school and built many successful businesses from scratch. Although he had multiple professional successes, it was his profound love for his family and friends that truly motivated him. Michael was known for his generous spirit and eagerness to help others. He found joy in bowling and golfing, but his greatest happiness came from spending time with his family. His legacy of love and dedication to helping others will continue through his daughters, grandsons, and great-grandson, who were his pride and joy.  

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Yingling; his daughters, Melissa (Michael) Watson and Amanda (Eric) Phillips; his grandsons, Zackary (Brittnie) Watson, Justin Watson, Bryce Phillips, and Hunter Phillips; his great-grandson, Andrew Watson; his brothers, Charles (Brenda) Yingling and Joseph (Susan) Yingling; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Alice Yingling.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 28, 2024, at 1 pm at Harvester Community Church in Land O Lakes, FL, with visitation to follow.
