Thelma Rae Sharlow (Jung) passed away in her home surrounded by her family that loved her deeply on Thursday December 12, 2024.  She was born to Melvin and Inez Jung on September 9, 1934 in Fort Atkinson, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leslie Sharlow; son Wayne Sharlow; granddaughter Rachel Jurczyk; son-in-law Lyle Jurczyk; siblings Laverne Jung, Marilyn Steiner, Ralph, Gordie and Duane Jung.

She will be missed by her children: Linda (Dave) Starkey, Janet Nuehring, Jeff (Mary) Sharlow, Terri Jurczyk and daughter-in-law Theresa Sharlow; 14 grandchildren: Bobbi Brown, John Grosskopf, Amanda Kimbro, Tracy (Chad) Watermolen, Craig (Amy) Sharlow, Eric (Jessie Boeve) Sharlow, Penny Vega, Pat (Kendra Gerlmann) Nuehring, Jacob Nuehring, Emily Lembrich (Shawn Murphy), Morgan Sharlow, David (Tracy) Jurczyk, James (Courtney) Jurczyk, Caitlin (Brielle Johnson) Jurczyk, and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and her brother Raymond Jung.

She was one of the most caring and kind people you would have ever met.  Teaching her children and their families how to play cards, how to cook a great burger and was always there for everyone anytime they needed her. She enjoyed taking many trips with her kids and grandkids from camping trips to trips to Michigan, Colorado, Iowa, Florida and many more places.

A great thank you to Rainbow Hospice for the wonderful care that they provided during her last few months. The family will always be grateful.
